France Celebrates Bastille Day with Military Parade on the Champs-Élysées..

France commemorated its National Day (Bastille Day) on Monday with a majestic military parade along the Champs-Élysées, featuring broad participation from French armed forces and representatives from allied nations.

The military procession commenced at the Arc de Triomphe and proceeded toward the main reviewing stand at Place de la Concorde, where French President Emmanuel Macron and members of his government, including Prime Minister François Bayrou, stood alongside distinguished guests: His Highness Sheikh Mishal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, Amir of Kuwait, Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto, and other senior officials.

This year's parade saw the participation of over 7,000 personnel, including 5,600 marching troops, alongside more than 100 aircraft, 250 armored vehicles, and 200 horses from the Republican Guard. A notable highlight was Indonesia's significant contribution, with a 400-strong military contingent, symbolizing enhanced defense cooperation between the two nations.

The French Presidency stated in a release that this year's event coincided with the centenary of both the Pleyel de France institution and the Flame Committee. During the ceremony, President Macron presented a new ceremonial sword in a symbolic gesture honoring France's military heritage.

The parade also dedicated a segment to recognizing the commitment of French youth, aiming to foster national values and civic spirit among younger generations.
