Galaxy S26 Ultra continues with the same main camera sensor unchanged..

A new leak from Ice Universe has revealed important details about the camera of the Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra, which may disappoint some and excite others at the same time.

Despite expectations that the phone will come with a new main sensor, the leaker confirmed that Samsung will continue to use the 1/1.3-inch ISOCELL HP2 sensor, which is the same one it has relied on since the launch of the S23 Ultra series. This means that Sony's 1.1-inch, 200-megapixel sensor is not as popular as some had hoped. However, the upgrade won't be without an interesting element. Ice Universe suggests that Samsung will improve the lens with a wider f/1.4 aperture, compared to the f/1.7 aperture on the Galaxy S25 Ultra.
