Egyptian Minister of Industry and Transport discusses enhancing industrial integration with Saudi counterpart

On Thursday, Egyptian Minister of Industry and Transport and Deputy Prime Minister for Industrial Development, Kamel al-Wazir, met with his Saudi counterpart, Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources Bandar al-Khorayef, to discuss ways to enhance industrial integration between the Kingdom and Egypt.

The Saudi Press Agency reported that both sides emphasized during the meeting the strength of the strategic relations between the two countries in various fields and the depth of economic ties across various vital sectors, foremost among them the industrial sector.

The agency added that the two sides reviewed the progress made in the paths of industrial integration between the two countries and the efforts of the joint technical teams in developing industrial cooperation and integration, "in addition to the importance of addressing the challenges facing exporters and investors in the two brotherly countries."

According to the agency, both sides stressed the importance of enhancing joint cooperation between the two countries in strategic industrial sectors of mutual interest, reflecting the aspirations of the leaderships and peoples of both countries.
