The Israeli occupation announces the end of what it calls a "humanitarian truce" in Gaza City..

The Israeli occupation forces announced on Friday the end of what they call a "humanitarian truce" that was temporarily in effect in Gaza City.

In a statement, the forces said, "As of this Friday, the local tactical pause will no longer be in effect in Gaza City," describing it as a "dangerous combat zone."

This announcement comes as the Israeli occupation forces prepare for their full re-occupation of Gaza as part of what they call Operation "Gideon's Chariots 2."

The occupation had claimed to implement a local truce in the Gaza Strip following increasing international pressure as famine spreads in the city. However, bombardment operations continue, targeting the remaining homes and tents of displaced people, resulting in casualties and injuries.

The Israeli occupation forces are carrying out a campaign to evacuate Gaza City and forcibly displace its residents towards the central and southern areas of the Strip as part of their efforts to occupy it.
