Apple has announced the release of its new iOS 26.0.1 update for iPhones along with iPadOS 26.0.1 for iPads, marking the first sub-update of the company's newly launched systems.

Eligible device users can download the update by going to Settings, then clicking on General, and then selecting Software Update.

According to Apple's official notes, the update comes to address a number of technical bugs and security issues, including:

Fixing intermittent disconnections in Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity in iPhone 17 and iPhone Air.

Fixed difficulty connecting to cellular networks after installing iOS 26.

Fix unexpected distortions in photos taken on iPhone 17 versions under certain lighting conditions.
