Qualcomm has achieved what it describes as a complete victory in its legal dispute with Arm over chip licenses, a dispute that began in 2022 after Arm filed a lawsuit against Qualcomm accusing it of breach of contract following its acquisition of Nuvia and the use of its technology in the design of custom Phoenix cores.

As is customary in court cases, it took a long time for the matter to be finally resolved, but the Federal District Court in Delaware ruled dismissing the last remaining claim in the case in favor of Qualcomm and Nuvia.
