Apple is currently developing a new budget MacBook, which is scheduled to be released in early 2026. The first reports of this project appeared last summer via DigiTimes, and now Bloomberg confirms the same information.

According to the leaks, Apple has already started producing prototypes of the device in cooperation with its suppliers, in preparation for its official launch in early 2026.

This laptop will come with a low-cost LCD screen, as well as an A-series processor for the iPhone, which is said to be faster than the first M1 chip that Apple used in its previous devices.
