Google has announced the expansion of the capabilities of its financial service Google Finance by incorporating artificial intelligence tools powered by Gemini models, with the aim of supporting traders and investors with more advanced research and analysis methods, according to the company published in an official statement.

The in-service Deep Research feature allows users to ask complex questions and get detailed answers from Google Finance's built-in chatbot, which earlier this year underwent a comprehensive AI-driven redesign. This feature can be accessed by selecting the Deep Search option when you ask a query.

Robert Dannett, director of product management at Google Search, said the tool is based on advanced Gemini models and is capable of providing comprehensive, documented responses in just a few minutes.

The feature will display an attached search plan to enable users to follow the analysis steps and understand how the AI works.
