Apple is preparing to officially unveil its first-ever foldable phone, the iPhone Ultra, on Wednesday, September 9, amid new reports revealing the company's readiness to offer a dedicated Apple Pencil for the device.

According to a report published by Bloomberg, Apple has developed a special version of the Apple Pencil to suit the foldable design of the iPhone Ultra. The stylus is expected to be slightly shorter than current versions to accommodate the phone's smaller size when in use.

As with the iPad Pro and Apple Pencil Pro, the new stylus is said to magnetically attach to the phone's metal frame and charge while attached, making it easier to carry and eliminating the need for a separate charger.
