The Kuwait Stock Exchange closed its trading session with its general index rising by 32.29 points.

The Kuwait Stock Exchange closed its trading session today, Monday, with its general index rising by 32.29 points, an increase of 0.40 percent, reaching a level of 8,173.21 points.  


A total of 438.10 million shares were traded through 20,670 cash transactions, amounting to 147 million dinars (approximately 452.7 million dollars).  


The Main Market Index rose by 29.35 points, an increase of 0.40 percent, reaching a level of 7,413.17 points, with 286.2 million shares traded through 10,436 cash transactions, totaling 92 million dinars (approximately 283.3 million dollars).  


Similarly, the Premier Market Index increased by 34.63 points, a rise of 0.40 percent, reaching a level of 8,767.04 points, with 151.8 million shares traded through 10,234 transactions, amounting to 55 million dinars (approximately 169.4 million dollars).  


In parallel, the (Main 50) Index rose by 27.82 points, an increase of 0.37 percent, reaching a level of 7,474.72 points, with 256 million shares traded through 8,241 cash transactions, totaling 87.8 million dinars (approximately 270.4 million dollars).  


The companies (Hotels), (Al-Sour), (First Fuel), and (Dalghan A) were the top gainers, while (Energy House), (Unicap), (First Takaful), and (Al-Kout) were the top decliners.
