The Kuwait Stock Exchange closed its trading session today, Tuesday, with its general index rising by 29.35 points, an increase of 0.37 percent, reaching a level of 7905.91 points. A total of 197.4 million shares were traded through 14,638 cash transactions, with a value of 58.7 million Kuwaiti dinars (approximately 180.7 million US dollars).  

The Main Market Index declined by 5.87 points, a decrease of 0.08 percent, to reach 7213.53 points, with 100.5 million shares traded through 6,856 cash transactions, amounting to 16.3 million dinars (approximately 50.2 million US dollars).  

On the other hand, the Premier Market Index rose by 39.70 points, an increase of 0.47 percent, reaching 8469.51 points, with 96.8 million shares traded through 7,782 transactions, valued at 42.3 million dinars (approximately 130.2 million US dollars).  

Additionally, the (Main 50) Index increased by 51.76 points, a rise of 0.74 percent, reaching 7056.46 points, with 87.12 million shares traded through 5,963 cash transactions, totaling 15.12 million dinars (approximately 46.5 million US dollars).  

Among the companies, (Beit Al Tijjar), (Argan), (Injazat), and (Minshaat) were the top gainers, while (Oula Takaful), (M Business), (Digits), and (Maaden) were the top decliners.
