Kuwait Airways announced the cancellation of some of its scheduled flights to the British capital, London, on Friday due to the sudden power outage at **Heathrow International Airport**.
In a press statement, the company stated that this disruption led to the closure of the airport and the suspension of all incoming and outgoing flights until midnight UK time.
It explained that, as a result of this issue, the following scheduled flights for today were canceled: **101KU**, **102KU**, **103KU**, and **104KU**.
The company confirmed that it is closely monitoring the latest developments in coordination with the relevant authorities at Heathrow Airport. It urged passengers affected by the flight cancellations to contact the customer service center at **171** from within Kuwait or at **+965 24345555 (extension 171)** from outside Kuwait.
It also noted that passengers can communicate via **WhatsApp** on the number **+965 22200171**.
The company expressed its appreciation for passengers' understanding and cooperation, reaffirming its commitment to providing the best services despite these emergency circumstances.
