The Governor of the Capital inspects the preparations at the Grand State Mosque for the observance of the last ten days (of Ramadan)..

Capital Governor Sheikh Abdullah Salem Al-Ali Al-Sabah conducted an inspection tour on Sunday evening at the Grand State Mosque to review ongoing preparations for welcoming worshippers during the last ten days of the holy month of Ramadan.

In a press statement, the Capital Governorate noted that Sheikh Abdullah Al-Sabah examined the traffic management procedures in place to ensure smooth entry and exit for worshippers.

The Governor emphasized—according to the statement—that enhancing cooperation and coordination among all relevant entities contributes to achieving optimal readiness and providing necessary services to ensure worshippers’ comfort. This, he said, fosters the spiritual atmosphere required to observe the last ten nights of Ramadan with tranquility and devotion.

Sheikh Abdullah praised the efforts of the Ministry of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs, the Ministry of Interior, and all participating entities in securing the mosque and safeguarding the safety and convenience of worshippers. He prayed to Allah to preserve the blessings of security, peace, and stability in the nation.

The Governor was accompanied during the tour by several security officials, representatives from the General Fire Force, the Ministry of Health, and a number of volunteers.
