Tottenham Hotspur of England defeated their Norwegian visitors Bodø/Glimt 3-1 in the first leg of the UEFA Europa League semi-final, played on Thursday at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in London.

The match had barely begun when Welsh forward Brennan Johnson headed in the opening goal within the first minute.
