Jazeera Airways announced on Wednesday a net profit of 4.7 million Kuwaiti dinars (approximately $15.3 million USD) in the first quarter of 2025, marking a 274.8% increase compared to the same period in 2024, with earnings per share reaching 21.44 fils per share.
In a press statement, the company’s Chairman, Marwan Boodai, said that operating revenues reached 53.6 million dinars (around 22.1 million USD), surging by 430.7% compared to the same period in 2024.
Boodai noted that the number of passengers carried by the airline in Q1 2025 reached 1.2 million, a 7.7% increase year-on-year.
Jazeera Airways was founded in 2004 and listed on the Kuwait Stock Exchange in 2008. The airline operates exclusively as a low-cost commercial carrier and cargo service provider from Kuwait International Airport’s Terminal 5 (T5).
