Saudi Arabia's Al-Ittihad were crowned champions of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Cup on Friday after defeating rivals Al-Qadsiah 3-1 in the tournament final at King Abdullah Sports City Stadium in Jeddah.

French star Karim Benzema opened the scoring for Al-Ittihad in the 34th minute. Algerian player Houssem Aouar added the second goal in the 43rd minute, while Al-Qadsiah's Gabonese striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang reduced the deficit with a successfully converted penalty in the sixth minute of first-half stoppage time.

Just before the end of the second half, Benzema completed the scoring with his second goal and his team's third in the fourth minute of second-half stoppage time, cementing his team's rightful claim to the title.
