iPhone Air fans have seen a week full of conflicting reports. Initially, The Information reported that Apple had halted development of the iPhone Air 2 due to weak sales. Then another report came out confirming that the phone was not canceled but only delayed by six months to arrive in the spring of 2027 instead of the fall of 2026.
But Bloomberg's Mark Gorman made the picture clearer clearly. He says that the iPhone Air 2 was not originally planned for release next year, which negates the idea that Apple delayed the launch due to sales figures.Instead of focusing on adding a second camera as some reports have claimed, Apple is working on equipping the phone with a new 2nm processor, which will boost battery performance and offer significant improvements. The leaks suggest that the A20 chip will be built on TSMC's second-generation N2 process.
