Bloomberg reported that Apple is seeking to increase its revenue from services by including ads in the Apple Maps maps service.
This trend comes as part of Apple's strategy to boost the services sector, which began in particular since 2015, after iPhone sales saw a slowdown in growth, prompting the company to focus on services such as the App Store, online streaming, voice services and others.
That strategy yielded positive results, with Apple announcing nearly $25 billion in revenue from the services sector in the third quarter of 2024 alone.
