Kazma wins the Super Cup title for the second time in its history after defeating Al-Kuwait (34-32) in the final match..

On Tuesday, Kazma Club clinched the title of the Kuwait Handball Super Cup for the 2024/2025 sports season after defeating Al-Kuwait in the final match with a score of (34-32). Meanwhile, Al-Salmiya secured third place by defeating Al-Arabi with a score of (36-29) in the third-place playoff, held at the Sheikh Saad Al-Abdullah Sports Complex Hall.  


Kazma succeeded in securing its second title in the history of the Super Cup after defeating Al-Kuwait in the final match. The game was marked by excitement and competitiveness between the two teams due to their closely matched levels, with the first half ending in favor of Al-Kuwait (15-10).  


In the second half, the intensity and excitement continued amidst a remarkable crowd presence. Al-Kuwait managed to widen the gap and take the lead, but the match took a dramatic turn as Kazma made a comeback, pulling Al-Kuwait into a tie in the final seconds, ending the second half in a draw (25-25).  


In the extra periods, the excitement and competitiveness persisted, with Kazma dominating the first extra period (30-26). In the second extra period, Kazma maintained its lead until the end, securing its second title in the tournament. Al-Kuwait remains the club with the most Super Cup titles, having won three titles since the tournament's inception in the 2020/2021 season.  


In the third-place playoff, Al-Salmiya managed to defeat Al-Arabi and secure third place. The first half ended with a narrow two-point lead for Al-Salmiya (18-16), and the team continued its dominance in the second half, widening the gap to secure a victory with a score of (36-29).
