The Kuwaiti organization (Direct Aid) launched today, Thursday, the Iftar project for fasting individuals, which includes the distribution of 3,800 food baskets to low-income families in three Yemeni governorates, as part of the ongoing campaign (Kuwait by Your Side) for the tenth consecutive year.
Ali Battit, the Regional Director of (Direct Aid) in Yemen, stated that the project aims to distribute 3,800 food baskets containing essential items to meet the needs of the beneficiary families, totaling approximately 26,600 individuals, throughout the month of Ramadan.
He added that the project is part of the humanitarian efforts undertaken by (Direct Aid) to support the most vulnerable and affected groups amid the economic and social challenges facing Yemen.
He expressed his deep gratitude and appreciation to the donors and supporters who contributed to the success of this humanitarian initiative, which alleviates the suffering of thousands of families during the holy month.
