The initiative focuses on the health impacts of climate change and environmental conservation.
Dr. Al-Munther Al-Hassawi, Assistant Undersecretary for Public Health, revealed:
A dedicated National Climate Change Committee with cross-government representation
Development of national health adaptation plans with the General Environment Authority
Climate change's tangible impacts through rising regional temperatures
Dr. Abeer Al-Bahwah, Health Promotion Director, outlined campaign components:
Interactive workshops and lectures on climate-health linkages
Focus on heatwaves, air pollution, and changing disease patterns
Protection strategies for vulnerable coastal communities
Adnan Al-Othman of the Abdullah Al-Othman Charitable Committee emphasized:
Youth-targeted messaging on sustainable practices
Simplified public communication on prevention measures
Behavioral science approaches to climate adaptation
The campaign addresses:
